Flash Forward Film Festival

Flash Foward is looking for short films for its film festival.

Flash Forward celebrates the best films from around Oxford made by people with a learning disability.

Films should be between 5 and 10 minutes long.

The categories include animation, documentary, drama and experimental.

If you want to send in a film you must do it by 1st October.

Create Compete Collaborate

Create, Compete, Collaborate is a new organisation for young people in the South East.

It will help young people be part of a project with young people from another country.

The projects will run between now and the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A current project is a new game called 'Wheels of Glory’.

The game is based on the Paralympics and the story of Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

pARTicipate course

pARTicipate is a 30 week course for adults with a learning disabiliy.

The course involves one term each of art, dance and music.

The course finishes with an end of year performance, giving you a chance to perform in front of friends and family.

The course is on Thursdays between 1pm and 3pm and will start on 30th September.

You can attend the course at a venue in Swarcliffe, Bramley or Beeston.

If you are intested you must apply by 15th September.

Dance Transformations

Do you need time, space and financial support to develop ideas?

Could you benefit from mentor guidance?

Dance Transformations is a part time 2-3 year training programme that will support emerging artists with a disability in West Midlands.

Intoart are launching a new book called See the Revolutionary Art Exhibit

The book is a collection of art from Intoart's Whitchapel Gallery exhibition.

It also includes a DVD of 4 short films by Lenka Clayton and Intoart.

The art work shows how art and disability is not just stuck within education, participation and outsiderness.

The book has not yet been released but you can pre-order it from Amazon for £19.95
