Voices

People with a learning disability are leading a Mencap project called Voices.

Voices is about making sure that Mencap’s training courses and presentations are co-created and co-delivered by people with a learning disability.

Voices will help to make the voices of learning disabled artists heard.

The group gets people with a learning disability to be heard more explained Voices group member Ismail Kaji. As a spokesperson, I can talk on behalf of the media and campaigns teams, or share my ideas about supporting people with a learning disability.

Many of the Voices group recently received Training certificates from Fircroft College in Birmingham.
